Users will be able to browse and run only those programs and web sites, you explicitly give access to. You can control which users have access to your terminal. You can allow users with regular usernames and passwords to have permanent access whenever they want or you can sell or give out time limited codes to people who will then use it to gain access to workstation only for a limited time, specified in the code. You can also choose to execute some programs or web sites automatically, so every time user approaches your terminal, it has your home page open for example. This is ideal for people, who want to show only one web page and allow users to visit that particular web page. You can block certain keys on the keyboard, so they will not be active in applications.
